Jim Pearman added
the qualification of Choir Director to his ACertCM in 1992. He was
invited to Lambeth Palace to receive his certificate from the
Archbishop of Canterbury, George Cary. He has held several positions as
Choirmaster, notably at St Peter's church Pedmore 1983-86. He was
appointed Choir Director by Stourbridge Choral and Orchestral
Society from September 2005.
In January 2009, when the orchestral director resigned unexpectedly, he took on that job too.
He retired from both positions in June 2009 and was made an Honarary Vice-President at the subsequent AGM.
Jim Remains interested in conducting and accepts the occasional invitation to conduct events.
